3D-Printed Air Traffic Control Facility, Pune
MiCoB delivered a 900 sq. ft. 3D-printed air traffic control facility at Pune Airport for the Indian Air Force. The project extended 3D concrete printing into operational aviation infrastructure, combining a printed structural base with the functional requirements of an elevated control environment.

Project story
The facility required the construction system to support a specialised operational use case within an aviation setting. MiCoB executed the printed building envelope and coordinated it with the access, viewing and service requirements of the facility.
Completed in 2022, the project is an early example of 3D concrete printing being adopted for a functional defence and aviation asset rather than a prototype.
