3D-Printed Defence Facility, Ahmedabad
MiCoB delivered a 1,000 sq. ft. 3D-printed facility in Ahmedabad for the Indian Army. Completed in 2021, the project was among MiCoB's early operational defence deployments and helped establish the feasibility of using 3D concrete printing for complete, functional building assets.
Key project features
- 1,000 sq. ft. built-up area
- Early operational defence deployment
- Completed in 2021
- Full building application of 3D concrete printing
Project story
The project moved the technology beyond laboratory validation into an occupied, real-world application. MiCoB translated the building requirements into a printable construction sequence and coordinated the printed walls with the remaining architectural components.
The completed facility became an early reference for subsequent defence and infrastructure projects undertaken by MiCoB.
