High-Altitude G+1 Defence Facility, Sikkim

MiCoB delivered an 8,800 sq. ft. G+1 3D-printed defence facility in the Sikkim border region. The project demonstrates the deployment of construction-scale 3D concrete printing in a high-altitude environment where access, logistics and the construction window can significantly influence project execution.

Project story

The project required MiCoB's technology and execution process to be adapted for remote, high-altitude site conditions. The building was delivered as a substantial G+1 facility, showing that 3D concrete printing can be extended to larger operational structures in demanding terrain.

The project also provided valuable field experience in coordinating materials, equipment, production and construction activities under conditions substantially different from a conventional urban site.
