Specialised Defence Infrastructure

3D-Printed Underground Bunkers and Control Rooms

MiCoB has delivered 3D-printed underground bunkers and control-room infrastructure through defence construction partners. These specialised projects extend the application of 3D concrete printing to protected and operational spaces with requirements beyond standard above-ground buildings.

Key project features

  • Underground protective structures
  • Control-room applications
  • Delivered through defence construction partners
  • Project details maintained as confidential

Project story

The projects required close integration between structural design, printable geometry, construction sequencing and field execution. MiCoB adapted its technology platform to support underground and protected applications while working within project-specific confidentiality requirements.

The work demonstrates the potential of 3D concrete printing for specialised infrastructure where repeatability, controlled geometry and deployment capability are important.
