How MiCoB builds with 3D concrete printing

MiCoB is building an integrated Digital Construction Manufacturing platform. The differentiation does not lie in a single printer, robot or material — it lies in the coordination of material science, machinery, automation, software, structural design and project execution as one complete construction system.

Manufacturing sequence

From model to structure

The technology is organised around a controlled production chain. Each stage has to hand off cleanly to the next.

  1. 01Design and structural intent
  2. 02Print-path generation and simulation
  3. 03Material batching, dosing and mixing
  4. 04Pumping, extrusion and robotic deposition
  5. 05Reinforcement, services and finishing integration
  6. 06Inspection, transport or site completion

Technology stack

System layers

The build depends on coordinated material behaviour, machine control, software preparation and construction engineering.

Materials

Printable concrete formulations

Material behaviour is engineered for manufacturing first: pumpability, extrusion stability, shape retention, interlayer bond and final structural performance.

01

MiCoB develops proprietary printable concrete formulations through in-house research, production trials and field validation.

02

Formulations and process parameters are tuned to geometry, environment, production duration, pumping distance and structural requirements.

03

MiCoB Shield® 3D is the dry pre-mix used across the printing systems.
